I posted the below in this thread but I thought I new thread might be apt as I think we may see an influx of new readers of the forum. Apologies if this needs moving.

David Icke appears to be ramping up the woo for a new book release, the below is from his Twitter feed @DavidIcke

GMO is designed to genetically modify us. We are being hormonally manipulated through endless toxins including those in plastic container

and that includes the pineal gland in the brain which gives us awareness beyond the conscious mind...
.. It is no accident that fluoride in drinking water and toothpaste calcifies the pineal gland....

... This theme recurs over and over and is obviously coordinated to that end.

He's since moved on to the recent Russian meteor, Fukushima tsunami being man-made and the 'transformation of the electromagnetic field'. He's covering all the bases and I think it's all to do with drumming up publicity.

Aha, he has since tweeted a picture of him with Russell Brand after appearing on his TV show. I've not seen the footage but I will guess he was plugging this new book.

he's highly clever, not in what he says but how he capitalizes constantly on real human anger and confusion - another one I believe is either purposefully leading people who are discontented up the bizzare tree instead, or at-least the media use him as a patsy, anything conspiracy related they roll Icke in for his bit to say - making anybody else who thinks it seem nutty, and drawing in yet more people into his weird land rather than the real.

he also has a knack for being right....about 15% of the time (mainly 'cos he's constantly swinging), be it outing pedophiles long before they're mentioned, i also believe we are being hormonally manipulated, a bit out there but at-least there's evidence to show hormone imbalances are occurring through food/water and it has a logical purpose to the people i hold with such distrust and hate. Flouride...that IS bad right? must be a reason most of the councils in UK stopped using it? (bar 2).

When he does large public addresses, he's very, very good i think, holds back the reptilians, goes in for the media propaganda route, the 99%>1% route etc, the "matrix" like world we do indeed live...

reminds me, i need to find a thread on here about max keiser/stacy herbert and see your opinions, i like their stuff, i believe the news they portray but their motives are highly suspect - on twitter i get a reply most times i tweet stacy, very nice, second i ask her how much she thinks keiser report influences gold/silver prices and that while being invested in it, it's coincidental that they use all aspects of fear of the economy to encourage buying gold/silver. ignored 3/4 times, the 4th time she tried deflection, asking whether i blamed her for the financial crash - just trying to make me look silly lol...anyways, diverging, but so much propaganda out there it's hard to know - they're on a Russian network, so no guesses as to why we should doubt *SOME* of there more outlandish fearing predictions.

He might be right some of the time, but that's simply because he jumps on absolutely everything and works it into his agenda. You know, throw enough stuff and some of sticks etc.

It's worth remembering that Icke was a pundit for BBC sports on TV and radio in the late 70's and early 80's, which would've placed him in media circles right around the time that the paedophile activity now being investigated, in that organisation and in entertainment more generally, was being swept under the carpet.

I would say the rumours would have been rife, and it wouldn't have taken a genius to know that was going to come out sooner or later.

I do not think he has some great investigative mind, i'm sure you're right and he only pieced together the muchness of what was rumoured - but he at least did out names; he'll be righter and righter along the names he has put out i'm sure, i still don't know about satanic cult and all that but generally i accept there is a powerful group of men and perhaps women who are pedophiles and have clubbed together, wouldn't surprise me one bit if the likes of prince phillip are part of it not that we'd ever get absolute proof of that.

That's the whole reason someone like Icke thrives i guess, he's put his neck out (like a jack hammer to every and any issue, i accept that too Mattnik), but on issues such as Savile the only 'mainstream' person other than Icke that i know of who actually raised the issue of "shouldn't we investigate this shit?" was Louis Thoreau, and that was in 2000, yet we heard constantly "Oh i knew but was scared" and other rubbish.

Mind, the whole bussiness is ugly; not only by what these people did but the whole mob culture....McAlpine might still well sue me ¬_¬

Yeah, one thing you do have credit some of the leading lights of the conspiracy crowd with is occasional bravery, I wouldn't take that away from them for a minute. In Icke's case though, I wonder if having nothing to lose had anything to do with it, when it finally dawned on him just how bad a move the Wogan / Lizard / Godhead thing was...Your only choice in that situation is to dive deeper, let's face it.

As for the cabal of paedophiles, I too naturally give the possibility a certain amount of creedence despite a lack of solid evidence, just because humanity has form throughout history for that kind of thing, and adherence to societal rules about it (which are completely sensible, I hasten to add) is a relatively new situation. It's the demons in us that fuel the pitchfork mobs to some extent, in my opinion.
