Mick West replied to the thread MH370 Teleportation Video Synthetic Repeating Noise.Yeah, but I didn’t pay that. That’s the cost in raw API calls. I have a Pro subscription which is $200/month, which I use for my consulting work and personal project. This was all spare capacity on that. So more like $50 (one week) of money I... -

Agree.
Without any context of the video, this describes a helicopter or light civil airplane. The expectation that one would hear an aircraft in these environmental conditions can cause a perceptive disconnect. I went back and listened and I do hear... -

Iilliniflyer replied to the thread Seaside Heights, Ocean County, New Jersey - Claimied drone sighting weekend 11th - 12th January 2025.Yes, I misread your initial post. I thought you were saying that ADS-B is required when you clearly caveated that with civil aircraft equipped with ADS-B.

My apologies. I will confess to not being particularly capable at understanding SitRec screenshots at the best of times (and my eyes are unusually reticent to provide me with all the cues that should be available presently), and unless there's... -

Some years ago, for one of my Building 7 videos, I did my own soda can experiment to see if I could actually observe effective freefall acceleration in a collapsing soda can. I filled a bucket with water while filming the can at 300 FPS. Then I...

Re: "pro-war shills", I doubt many people in the West are pro-war per se. The opinions differ on whether the reponsibility of ending the war rests on the aggressor or on the defender; i.e. "go back home" or "surrender your home". In that... -

Please call it a strobe. I don't think the analysis that led you to make this determination is detailed enough to be reliable. And likewise here; a phone microphone typically dampens the low frequencies that would carry the best in humid night...

Yeah, I used to drag around a small mediocre Panasonic Micro 4 thirds with a couple of lenses. Then in 2022 I was out at Burningman in all the dust and heat, so I just left it in the trailer and pulled out my iPhone 13(?). I managed to record...

The frame I included was on match. It was just a bit fiddly to get more (or see the existing ones) with the camera rotation, the twilight, and the clouds. -
Back at you! It is a neat video, even knowing what it is, thanks for sharing it! If you are interested, there are phone apps you can get that alert you when ISS (and a few other things) will be making a visible pass where you are. Using that...
