I think a big part of that is because it's in black hot mode, essentially inverted.
Lens flares are additive, you get the brightness of the flare plus the brighness of what is behind it. If that adds up to more than the clipping value of the...
I promise not to post this in every thread about these videos (though I almost could) -- but this is yet another UAP that does not do anything anomalous, it (or they) just flies smoothly by. As any non-anomalous flying thing would. I agree...
Like a mobile app? I can put this on my iPhone and just check it whenever I want to see if Starlink Flares will be visible in my location at a given time?
In the lore, there are claims of thought-reading from a distance and bedroom abductions for the purpose of installing implants that would connect the host to the aliens themselves. There are also claims that aliens walk among us.
"To a person with a hammer, every problem looks like a nail."
If someone is convinced that aliens are visiting us, every light in the sky evokes that suspicion. In much the same way, I've been in the woods without watching the time, and as dusk...
I just asked Villarroel for her take on the Greiner paper, and this is what she wrote (translated from Swedish):

You made several rather specific claims in one post. It's quite reasonable to ask what you are basing those claims on. Are you comparing it to something? Is this entirely your personal opinion? Something in between?

I do not find it too strange. I am pretty conversant with things astronomical, I have once mistaken Venus for a plane's landing lights, though I did recognize the error eventually. (If it ever happened and I did not recognize my error, I don't...
Initially this looks like a low-flying craft skimming over the water with a shadow. But I think, on zooming in, that it's actually just four birds and parallax.

I think we've had enough examples by now not to put much credence in the estimated values for an unfamiliar object's size or altitude, especially at night and in the absence of known objects with which to compare it.
