What would you have them do? They have no subpoena power. Should they get the FBI or the ATF to mount a SWAT like raid on Lockheed and Raytheon where they bust down the door and confiscate all the servers and find the UFOs? This all assumes...

They probably should have subpoena power then, but they are at least able to take part of classified material, maybe not to high enough level. I don't remember how that mess ended, but if they are unable to do their job because of lack of power...
