well aside from probabilistic (see quote from Jung's book below..its only 9 bucks on kindle), it IS subjective and has no special meaning beyond the mental state of the individual(s) experiencing it. Has nothing to do with you being agnostic... -

Synchronicity is not about saying god or a higher power explain or cause the effect. If it were then we’d just be saying “God caused it”. It’s about recognising a meaningful psychological phenomenon (that I’d argue most people have experienced)...
