Still a bit of a work in progress, but coming along very nicely.
Enable 3D buildings (Terrain), then under the Lighting menu, click "Shadows". This will give you shadows in the look view that are very accurate for the precise date and time.
You night want to reduce ambient and sun scattering to make the shadows coarser.
