Hi Paul, perhaps it's a bird, wing viewed almost edge-on. Something like the yellow outline below.

If I've understood your post correctly, there's no indication the photographer thought they'd captured anything unusual.
Perhaps they saw a bird fly on past, wings beating.

I think this is a Google Street View image, so no human photographer involved. There are lots of birds, bugs and other things caught in the sky on Street View.

Thanks for the reply's , yes I was just panning around with the views on google earth and saw it and I honestly thought it was something strange but John I think you have solved it ! Thank you ( bit gutted as I thought it was a ufo ) lol
