General ADS-B Exchange advice thread

I'm starting this as a place to ask for/share advice relating to ADS-B Exchange, the most commonly used flight tracking site we tend to use. But it can be a bit fiddly and often has powerful options that are easily to intuit.

I was doing a video on investigating the recent Munich case and I wanted to go into the ADS-B Exchange from the Sitrec chatbot and find the flight and show the departure airport

But the "tail" of the track and all tracks is only a small distance back from the plane, I've not noticed it before but was just wondering, if there is an option for this?

I dont get that issue. Which exact plane is your screenshot from ( it is not this one)

it might be to do with the time. What time does the track start at? It it 'on the hour' ...?

The work flow is

Open the iPhone time-lapse video from the Munich pilots IFEX presentation in exiftool.
Paste the GPS and time from the into Sitrec chatbot.
Click on the generated ADS-B exchange link, select G-GDFS

This sounds like it could be an issue with the link generated by Sitrec chatbot, or replay links in general.

It shows the traffic as expected it just seems to put a start limit on the track..

Okay it's basically like ADS-B Exchange is not including the data from the day before.

If I do a replay for midday UTC it shows the full track.

Surely this would have been noticed before..
