Communion Book Cover

rather I think an awful lot of people are going to remember Disclosure Day as a continuation of this trope—some them will be impressionable.
Will be interesting to see what happens, my impression is that "alien abductions" have become passe and do not seem to be reported (or at least, not to be covered) much anymore. Might this change that, if there is an abduction angle to this movie as there was in CE3K?

Wouldn't be surprised if there were a few associated claims or "recollections". If a book cover can do it...
Perhaps a wider understanding that the role sleep paralysis (and maybe other altered states of consciousness) might play in some abduction accounts, and much greater scepticism about the value of hypnosis-related recall (largely as a result of non-UFO related cases) has led clinicians and responsible news outlets to be more wary of such claims in recent years.

Abductions or contact experiences have largely moved into the ineffable visionary experience realm. I think this film, with what appears to be a very physical alien, might mark a return to "nuts and bolts" claimed experiences—perhaps even a new epidemic.

OK, place your bets -- will it launch a good old-fashioned UFO flap, such as we have not had in some time (drone flaps seeming to have occupied that space of late)?
