"Alien skeletons" in Mexican cave

?? is fentanyl a liquid that unstable people squirt at you?
Article: for healthcare workers providing care to unstable, "wet" patients who have bleeding, vomiting, or diarrhea.

I think the reference to "wet" patients is more to do with biological pathogens (viruses, bacteria etc.) which can (depending on type) be carried in various bodily fluids.

There have been a number of claims, particularly in the USA, of emergency workers (e.g. police, paramedics) becoming unwell from physical contact with fentanyl users, or even just being in close proximity. This would mean the user somehow exudes or exhales significant amounts of unmetabolized fentanyl; this has been investigated and is widely thought to be unlikely.

n recent years, there have been widely circulated and misleading claims that an opioid overdose can occur just by coming into physical contact with trace amounts of fentanyl. Experts in the field of medicine and toxicology have said that this is extremely unlikely.
...News media have recently reported on alleged incidents of first responders experiencing overdoses. ...There have never been clinical toxicology results confirming fentanyl exposure released following one of these incidents. Experts suggest that the clinical presentation of these cases are distinct from that of an opioid overdose.

MYTH: First responders have overdosed after contact with a fentanyl overdose victim or contaminated environment.
...FACT: Most first responders' encounters with overdose victims and contaminated environments do not present a significant drug exposure threat to responders.

FACT ONE: Touching fentanyl does not itself cause overdose. ...There has not been a confirmed case of harm from simply touching fentanyl. High profile stories of people touching fentanyl and experiencing an opioid overdose have been debunked.

The problem is that the outer orangish wall is flush with the innermost wall at the left, perhaps with a gap that is the width of the pilaster at the left, while on the right, the wall sandwiched between the wall is sloped, and could not fit into that space behind the first wall. Perspective problem.

That was my problem with trying to work out what that structure was in 3D, based on (initially) just the screenshot; the structure just didn't seem to make sense. Specifically that meeting of the front (orange brick) wall at the left side, with the rear grey wall, meant that what was in between couldn't be a collapsed roof, which was my original assumption.

Once I saw the video, it still didn't make sense (as a real structure), just in a different way.

It turns out one of the "skulls" was left at La Milarca Museum in 2022. Politician and collector, Mauricio Fernández Garza, who built the museum, appears in the video below showing the skull. It was originally posted on TikTok on 29th April 2022 (www.tiktok.com/@mauriciofdzgza/video/7091828946504862981).

In the footage, Mauricio explains that the skull and teeth are actually made of resin.

its not just blood. google ai says mold spores (so might be good for bat/mouse droppings?) but the site doesnt say that. does say it protects against fentanyl.

Possible applications include emergency response, healthcare, category 3 black water, crime scene remediation, and animal research.
Impermeable fabric and seams pass ASTM F1670 & F1671 tests for protection against blood, bodily fluids, blood borne pathogens, and also pass ASTM D6978-05 for hazardous drugs (Fentanyl).

still for 5$ each that's a pretty good deal. bet they'd keep most of the spackle off when doing heavy sanding and you wouldnt have to ruin your washing machine as you could just throw them out each time.

Pharmaceutical fentanyl is mostly made as a powder that gets compressed into tablets, although they do produce a liquid form for the transdermal patch.
None of these suits are fun to wear as they have limited breathablility and you sweat heavily inside them unless working in an area with cool temps and lots of air flow. I'm not sure why anyone would wear one into a hole in the ground unless it's like as suggested earlier and they're just trying to create an atmosphere with the AI.

@john.phil you have man hands.. can you guestimate a size in inches from that video?

Assuming his hand measures 11cm (4.3") in the position shown, the length without the "jaw" would be 22cm (8.6") and 23cm (9.2") with it.

cool. just realized that is about college football size. (although i don't know what size this young man is holding in this particular pic). rough estimate... we can definitely fit a football on that table between TW and Chad. TW said the head would barely fit on it.

ok my notes are a mess but i did label "left [skeleton] no lower jaw" at 9 bubbles.. so 1" bubbles would jive with your 8.6 pretty good

and my paper numbers were 7x8.5 which is a dead on match to a paper size (where as my 8X11 sheet wasnt exact).
(don't worry if you dont know what im talking about.. mostly just documenting my numbers so i can throw my post its out. i have the femur at 12 bubbles.)
