How can I debunk the orbs in this photo?

...there we no visible people or anything other than darkness (composition is alien to her when it comes to photography :) ) She didn't volunteer that info neither did I question it at the time (it's pointless trying to convince my sister that woo is woo) That's another possibility, for sure!

Zeke's Theory on "energy weapons" causing wildfires as part of Agenda 21

...and contains absolutely none of the sinister things that conspiracy theorists love to attribute to it. As you will find out if you actually read Agenda 21. It's a real mystery to me how such an innocuous document has attracted such a large amount of woo, but that is getting very much off topic.

    "Skeptical" vs. "Skeptic"

...often, it seems to me, is defending normality from challenge. Yet of course we should anticipate that, somehow (and I don't necessarily mean from woo-quarters), change to the dominant paradigms will come. We will be the ignorant folk people look back on who still thought x, y, z at the turn...

    "Skeptical" vs. "Skeptic"

So you're saying that all that is necessary to pronounce the fatal flaws of debunkers, is to mischaracterize them a bit?

    "Skeptical" vs. "Skeptic"

...Subjectivity is itself the biggest raspberry in the face of materialism. If sentience were not experienced by debunkers, it would be dismissed as woo. No one has ever seen it, taken a picture of it, kicked its tires or brought back samples of it. How can you seriously believe that this...

    "Skeptical" vs. "Skeptic"

...trotted out by many empty-headed fools who want to hold open the door just a crack on the fantastic, supernatural and obviously ridiculous woo-claims. (That's just sloppy-thinking IMO.) Agnosticism *is not* the proper default position. That is the product of a kind of sloppy thinking that A...

Are There Any Professional Groups Rebutting 9/11 Conspiracy Theories?

...So they just lost almost 3/4 of their FAIA members. I bet the deleted signatories either never knew they signed a petition in support of Gage's woo, or have decided to withdraw that support; and that Gage's hand was forced somehow, for deletions of signatures are rare. So, apparently, one...

    "Skeptical" vs. "Skeptic"

But your definition would commit us to believing that present science is more or less compete. Both relativity and quantum theory showed that the world is very different to they way we saw it at the start if the 20th century, for example. Skepticism is basically basing our belifs on the best...

...symptom, rather than an ailment in its own right. Can it be cured? - This depends on treating the underlying cause rather than 'eating certain foods' or other alt-health woo-isms. Are the health woo peddlers blowing it up out of all proportions to spread panic and plug their suppliments? -...

    Oroville Dam Spillway Failure

Woo Hoo, 2 backhoes, 3 cement trucks and 1 cement pumper. I'm pretty sure the 180,000 people evacuated down below the aux-spillway are safely reassured that this is enough.

Zeke's Theory on "energy weapons" causing wildfires as part of Agenda 21

...cunning beyond human imagination. It takes advantage of man's mind, turns it around and uses it as a weapon against him. Memes and concepts like "woo" are a good example of this. Unfortunately, there's nothing that I can do or say in the course of a simple internet discussion thread to prove...

    Oroville Dam Spillway Failure

Are you suggesting they should use more equipment than is necessary in order to reassure people? Is it not just possible that the resources that have been put to work are enough to complete the repairs within the anticipated window of time?

...fast and loose with the names of their supporters, and that much of the claimed support is not actual supporting their CTish claims. I suspect that they can occasionally woo a professional into initially supporting them, but that most converts revert once they revisit the issue, or are revisited.

I wouldn't be surprised if, in DeLonge's official capacity as "award-winning storyteller" for TTS AAS, he's allowed to embellish mundane artifacts to make them more woo-tastic for the sake of a good story. As Paul Weller of The Jam would put it, That's entertainment!"

I wonder if you raise (or maybe its technically 'lower') the computers security settings if it would block alot of the hard core woo selling sites. ?

Zeke's Theory on "energy weapons" causing wildfires as part of Agenda 21

Don't worry about confusing us. Most here are very familiar with Agenda 21. Simply share the very best evidence that convinced you that what does appear to be "innocuous, beneficial, even noble" is actually sinister. Whatever enlightened you, could enlighten us! If you're right, then it's...
