I had an experience last night in North Pembrokeshire. Golden sun sized orbs showed up over the sea horizon. They appeared on over 10 different occasions throughout the evening , moving, hovering, changing formation and size and shape and splitting into more orbs, then merging. My old phone camera does not do justice to what I saw.

They weren't plane or boat lights, and were not a man made light show nor drones, starlink or a meteor shower nor flares. In the first video 3 golden orbs the size of the sun appeared, the 2nd video is another sighting in the same location when it was darker. You might need to zoom in to see them. The dogs started barking like crazy. I took a few screenshots and enhanced some of them to try and see more clearly what was there.

What my camera didn't pick up was how much they separated into different orbs, how distinct they were and that some of them changed into star cross shapes in one of the sightings. The intensity of the light
was profound.

Here is another video from earlier in the night when it was lighter, (the music playing is from my laptop in the house). The three objects were golden and the size of the sun, they first appeared in a straight line, then reappeared quickly in a triangle formation. They were pulsating and growing in size and brightness.

The pictures are screenshots from the video without any enhancement. Visually it was like looking at 3 bright suns, expanding and hovering. They came back throughout the night approximately 10 times, multiplying into around 15 orbs and creating incredible patterns, changing shape and form that the camera didn't pick up, I will post that video which is about 5 minutes long later. The experience was profoundly peaceful and carried with it an ecstatic sense of joy.

Looks like military flares over a military training area to me, Lets check...

Other's have already suggeste this, but she's dismissing the explanations...

I've partially stabilized the video she posted. It looks exactly like flares.

The other video she posted, also flares. She does not seem to realize that there's contant new flares being dropped as the old ones are extinguished

A bit confused about Melinda Messenger's location at the time of her sighting as being "North Pembrokeshire" if the Castlemartin firing ranges are the culprit; Castlemartin is very much in the south of the county:

Maybe she was north of the town of Pembroke; it looks like the clips are shot across a body of water- perhaps from the north bank of the Milford Haven waterway. The south of the Pembroke Dock area is even closer to Castlemartin Range, and the view towards the range (roughly west-southwest to SSW) is also across water, not clearly shown in the maps above; this is (slightly edited) from Google Maps

When Instagram member foxmathieu points out the resemblance to mortar illumination rounds, and mentions their use at Castlemartin Range (and adds that Castlemartin is at the southwest corner of Pembrokeshire) Melinda doesn't make what might seem a fairly straightforward criticism of this attempted explanation: That she had described herself as being in north Pembrokeshire.
Maybe she was just north of Pembroke?

I think this is interesting.
We all know what a bright sun looks like, and how it illuminates the landscape.

The lights filmed by Melinda do not appear to be anywhere near as bright as a "bright sun", let alone three (which I suspect would be utterly terrifying). Three light sources as large and as bright as the sun might get wider attention from others in the area.
There's no question of dishonesty- she has posted the clips that she took. But her descriptions are not supported by her own evidence.

I wonder to what extent how we describe observations to ourselves, in our internal monologue if you like, influences our recall and how we describe things to others, and if the language we choose (or use under the influence of our experience, expectations etc.) to describe something unfamiliar might further impact on our recall and interpretation of that unfamiliar thing/ event.

(Had a bit of a smile at the thread title; Ms. Messenger was quite well-known as a "Page 3 girl", a term used for models who posed, usually topless, for 'glamour' photos regularly printed in UK newspapers in the past, perhaps most famously "The Sun").

Surely this has to be parody?

I'm slightly curious why Melinda Messenger doesn't mention her specific location- and why the UAPF host doesn't ask her.
Particularly since Melinda was made aware of the possibility of 81mm illumination rounds at Castlemartin Range being likely candidates (see OP); perhaps the UAPF host is aware of this as well if he has read the thread here.
UFO investigators often seem eager to establish the precise locations of claimed sightings (and rightly so).

If Melinda was a considerable distance from Castlemartin, that possible explanation could be excluded- but when that theory was suggested to her by former soldier foxmathieu on Instagram (see OP) she didn't say she was in a different area, which would seem an obvious point to raise if it were correct.

Putting oneself "out there" in the public eye has the lifelong consequence of constant risk/benefit calculation in publicity.

This was probably a condition of Ms Messenger's interview to avoid broaching the specific location of herself and her family.

Article:
Daily Star 2023-06-10:
The glamour girl-turned psychotherapist, 52, was targeted by creeps who became fixated on her in her days as a pin-up.

She added her fixated fans were luckily swiftly dealt with by officers – unlike with the recent swathe of cases that have left women fearing for their lives.

Mel also said she had a "few death threats" after she appeared on This Morning with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby in 2013 to discuss why she wouldn't be allowing her then-13-year-old daughter to have a HPV vaccine.

She fumed at the time she was "shocked" at the way she was treated with "anger and hostility" on the show for her views.

But Mel insisted that despite today's accusations the show has suffered a "toxic" atmosphere behind the scenes her experience was more to do with "time pressures" during her segment.

Melinda recently completed a Master's degree in psychotherapy and has counselled clients for eight years.

UFO witness reports have been known to exaggerate brightness.

From page 27 of:
The UFO handbook: a guide to investigating, evaluating and reporting UFO sightings
Hendry - Sphere - 1980

Unusual Brightness
Venus continued to attract attention as a "UFO" throughout the period of my study. The witness in case 519 likened it to "magnesium burning." In cases 890 and 896, the witnesses said Venus and Jupiter (close to each other) "became so bright that you could hardly look at them," and "they hurt your eyes to look at them" (for two and one half hours).

Understandably some celebrities have to make considerations about their privacy and safety, and sadly I guess this particularly applies to women.
But Melinda wasn't at home or at a place familiar to her, from approx.14 mins 52 secs into the UAPF/ Melinda Messenger talk posted by @flarkey (#9, above) she says

So I had gone off to Wales, for a week on my own, just me and my two dogs, and the lead up to that was quite interesting as well, um, I, it was, I had to go, this is unusual for me, I'm really happy at home I don't have, ever feel I have to go on holiday, certainly, first time I've ever gone away on my own, but I was compelled to go, and I just had this really strong feeling that I also I had to go to Wales, there was three specific places I had to go to, three of which I've never been to before, and wherever I stayed it had to have a sea view...
I don't think revealing the approximate location of her filming location retrospectively (she's no longer there) is likely to do any harm.

Melinda also seems to be describing some mysterious draw to the locations she visited before seeing lights in the sky.
Maybe she was predisposed to experiencing something unusual at her destination(s).
This might seem a less significant indicator of spiritual or psychic connection with the lights if those lights are 81mm battlefield illumination rounds or similar ordinance/ pyrotechnics.

Fair call. Ms Messenger may still have her reasons for being non specific in her location, perhaps it is somewhere she intends to return in the future? Regardless we all have a right to privacy.

Indeed, how we experience the world is also strongly influenced by our beliefs and how we feel at the time. Ms Messenger notes her change in behaviour without details that are too personal.

Because we all know how she just craves privacy as if her life depended on it?

Did I say "privacy"? Maybe I meant "publicity", I'm not sure.

The way she describes her "but I was compelled to go, and I just had this really strong feeling that I also I had to go to Wales" and "it had to have a sea view" is IMO just describing the urge we ALL have sometimes to go on a nice break and see interesting nature and views. She is surely in the rabbit hole, no doubt.

We do indeed.

But when we make a UFO report, if we don't want to share the details necessary to investigate the report we ought to recognize that our report is pretty useless, other than for publicity purposes. Which, come to think of it, is pretty much the opposite of privacy... it's just shouting "Hey look at me... but respect my privacy, don't look too much."

The amount of people who are saying that these orb sightings are devine or angelic is really rather worrying - Melida Messenger being one of them. We're not far off from the experiencers hearing the orbs speaking to them. And then the next logical progression will be that the orbs will start telling people what to do, possibly with very bad concequences. After the events of this week, it does make me concerned they'll end up 'doing something' against those who try to dicredit them solve their sightings. .
