@Rex Banner
I commented on your photo this morning, and went out to lunch this afternoon ...where I saw clouds a lot like yours. The friend with me who had previously said "Oh, that's fake, it must be AI" is now a believer! (Sorry, I didn't have...
Hello, dear Metabunk community,
Once again, I'm asking for your help in identifying three lights. I recorded this video on December 28, 2025, at 8:24 p.m. (iPhone 16 Pro, Auto Mode)
I was facing west from my location (51.10789 N; 13.63824 E)...
That would be interesting and useful.
Additionally, remember all those "New Jersey Drone" videos? Well, using this technique would probably allow for much better evidence, when matched with the flight, that it's actually a plane, as it's said to be.
It's a cool "I wish I had thought of that" idea. And I think it would be pretty easy for an AI agent to implement once the idea is described. I'll let it have a bash at putting it in Sitrec.

Following Ian's update, I've just published this background article on Dronewatch EU, also referencing the ongoing discussion in this Metabunk thread...

Ghosts are impossible because they break the laws of thermodynamics.
"Interdimensional" visitors are impossible because they break the laws of thermodynamics.
The (my) definition of 'supernatural' is "breaks the laws of...
I agree with splitting the thread and I'm guilty of having posted off topic stuff.
Back on the supernatural, I'm not sure I understand @Mauro 's point.
Does the definition of "supernatural" include the capability of morphing and changing the laws...
To me it looks like a windblown bit of thread, perhaps spider silk or some vegetation, it likely shows up as it enters the light and vanishes as it leaves it.
Possibly disturbed by the door, likely pretty small but close to the camera lens.
You should enter to make all this work more public to the world. You don't have to take the money if you win. In fact, what better way to prove sincerity than winning a prize but not taking it? You could say at the start that you won't take the...
The point of this thread is to provide examples that even rare things are eventually documented well.
Impossible things, however often they're reported, are never documented well.
This distinction is important.
