I think it may have been down to the browser lagging as I do tend to have too many tabs open, and Chrome is notorious for devouring memory. After I restarted the browser it was behaving better. That begs the question where Jersey will get counter-drone from unless a police unit such as NPCC is going to assist them, or maybe Jersey police have something basic like AeroScope.
