Seagulls are a relatively rare source of UAP reports, but not vanishingly rare.
Metabunk has a tag for optical illusions, https://www.metabunk.org/tags/optical-illusion/ , but all 4 threads in it are rather specific.
Optical illusions are interesting for us because they demonstrate how "normal people" (aka all of us) can be...
Best answer I ever heard for this was along the lines of "Maybe the lights we're seeing are in a wavelength THEY can;t see, they don;t even know how eye catching they are!" I don't buy it (they've abducted and tested enough people by now to know...
Yes, but it's not from the part of the video discussing parallel wiring of LEDs. I timestamped the vid to start at the relevant part.
Both circuits work. I don't know how LEDs are connected on LED-bearing kites (and I'm sure @Mauro does), but...
Veering slightly more off-topic, but in his new UAP-hunting memoir Out of the Shadows, Jay Stratton apparently contends that the white froth reported on the ocean surface under the Nimitz Tic-Tac was the seawater boiling from the unknown energy...

Yes, but we actively try to reduce it. For example, the transition away from incandescent lightbulbs in the EU and much of the world over the last couple of decades.
What I see is the road in the leftmost picure is a little inclined to the left, in the second picture it starts leaning to the right, and leans more to the right in each following picture. And I can't avoid seeing it that way,
That pictured topology is a hybrid series/parallel - lose one led, and you lose one string.
I suspect I might have pure parallel in my sauna, as exactly one led has died.
Especially when the lights just so happen to meet aircraft regulations...
Well, so do we. A fair amount of gear gives off IR light—precisely because we can't see it. (e.g. security cameras, TV remotes)
The circuit shown in the video is not what I meant as 'in parallel'. The LEDs are connected in series with a current limiting resistor and then many of these sub-circuits are connected, in turn, in parallel: this is perfectly possible. What you...
They were sure enough about what they were seeing to fire live rounds, given the description of the "drone" matches the Widerøe, then they put out a false timeline and they're still claiming you can see drones at ranges that are not possible at...
