What I think is interesting, is that I have never ever seen any witness reports on aliens being "robot like", or mechanical in nature. Fascinatingly it seems ALL aliens were always biological.. Pretty good indicator it all relates to culture.

This may tie back to sleep paralysis and incubus/succubus mythology? Though the "presence" looming ominously in sleep paralysis is usually somewhat amorphous or indistinct, and the portrayals of incubi and succubi are often not attractive at...
