But bear in mind that birds are well insulated! Looking at thermal imagery of birds, they sometimes appear pretty hot, sometimes pretty cold, though often with hot spots where they lack feathers (feet, eyes, beak)...

The UFO contradiction is that the better quality images are recognisable and thus never end up in the UFO pile, it's a self selecting subset.

I agree, I recognized it too, but it might give some credibility or at least attention, due to it being officially released as UFOs now. But yeah, it feels like reheated leftovers they just threw out there to fill out the nothingburger.

It's apparent that the parachute appears and disappears off the edge of the screen, so it isn't just focus that changes, but position. The camera simply isn't looking at the (mundane) parachute, but at its payload instead, with no regard to...
