I'd assume the people who put it in the museum did that

On the subject of AI slop, this fake image of the capsule has been circulating with the claim that the badge not being burnt shows fakery. I'd say there is a bit more of a problem with that fake. Not to mention the engineering issues...

Exactly. Sadly they just didn't take the experiment seriously. Even J.B Rhine went to the effort the create a mechanical dice thrower (for three dice) that had no human involvement. Not what you'd expect from Skeptical Inquirer...

Good question. If telepathy were really a thing, does that assume the sender has the power, or does the receiver? If they "come as a set" and only A can communicate with B, then they've presumably practiced together, and as we have seen with...

It's also been called a "J-hook". See e.g. https://www.metabunk.org/threads/peings-and-von-rennenkampff-reconstruction-of-potential-flight-paths-for-the-january-2015-“gimbal”-uap.12990/ for details. It's a solution for the target's flight path if...

Recent telepathy test by the Centre for Inquiry. However, I think the protocol has problems. - why does the sender's assistant who rolls the dice then have to write the number down? This just seems to add the possibility that the receiver can...

@Mick West As you've noted, the distant lights at 22:01:12 are almost certainly a vehicle ahead passing over a hill and out of view. I've narrowed the location to 59.9695725,-127.9937562. https://maps.app.goo.gl/S1bHgitvdc2yiqRB7

The D-C-R classification scheme was taught to US Army reconnaissance troops at least as far back as the 1970s when I had to learn it. The update @Nemon posted demonstrates the disconnect between disciplined information collection procedures...

It's just plain broken. I guessed, just from listening to the strokes: 2, 8 (but maybe 6, it was my first thought but I persuaded myself that 8 was a better match), 3. Let's call that 2.25/3, when without bias I should score 0.3/3. Alas I blurted...

I totally agree. But some people (with lively imaginations) seem to believe it was some kind of (almost) operational craft, beyond the stage of night flights over White Sands—and that makes it even less plausible, in my opinion. An early-stage...

Obviously, the deadline set by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna for the delivery of the requested 46 UAP‑related videos has passed without compliance. Reporting by International Business Times confirms that the Department of War did not provide the...
