The subtle (or not so subtle, depending on who you are) difference between "it is unexplained" and "it is inexplicable" can be played upon with some success by promoters of various flavors of Woo. You have to give it a bit of thought to realize...

Sorted. Part of my Furniture, Flying Saucer range (TM). Control consoles, toilet can be similarly mounted. Purchasers are advised to read the manual before use.

To an extent, I guess. Though assuming every distant light with no details is an alien spaceship does not feel pareidolic to me, strictly speaking. A stronger case could be made that it fuels Bigfootology, Nessieology, and Ghostology.

It also would make the "dome" experience very little weight, defying the purpose. And obviously there is no good way to fly the same furniture near the planet.

I have now downloaded and processed 30% of POSS-I plates using Vasco60 pipeline. I decided to build a script to understand the differences between my and MNRAS 2022 final survivor set R. (5,399 rows in MNRAS 2022). Findings were surprising so I...

Agreed. I guess when I saw your post, I was transported back to late February of last year. My 12 year old work truck was acting up, and while we managed to fix it (new turbocharger and variable fin controller), it was a fair bit of work only to...
