Not sure how far or close it is to the location in the film. -

True. We lived at White Sands Missile Range half a century ago. From the top of the pass between White Sands and Las Cruces, NM, the track was clearly visible where the Butterfield Stage used to run a century before.

But that's the problem. If individual cases are wrong or have bad data, they're not evidence for a trend. Each and every individual case needs to be studied first, then if it's unexplained, it might be evidence for a trend. And a trend doesn't...

Pointed out on this forum a couple of years age (and I can't recall the author - sorry!) that if there are no UFOs (in the sense of extraterrestrial craft), then of course the witnesses are all wrong.
