My first reaction to the video was "where's the explosion? is this some kind of bunker bomb?". But I don't know enough about all that to give an educated opinion.

I'm sure he probably has, but were those things in reference to situations as sensitive as 175 kids being bombed? I realize that's a subjective metric, but situations involving US intelligence and "war" actions I can't imagine him conveying...

I think I'll give him a little bit more credit than this. I think they're probably still investigating it, as Hegseth says, and maybe something is pointing to it being Iran. I think that's totally plausible, I just wish Trump wouldn't say that...

To me these 'inconsistencies' are in fact consistent with Halt's mistakes concerning the dates of these events. A Colonel in the USAF should have recorded the dates correctly, and reported them more promptly. Never attribute to conspiracy what... -

After ten years it's hard to say. I don't recall the NYT story to be honest as that was a pretty bad time for us personally. Ultimately, you always end up going to war with imperfect intelligence. That's just one more reason you should avoid... -
