A stroke is an extremely fast (rapid onset) mental impairment. A part of your brain dies from a lack of oxygen from the blood. The results vary a lot. -

That's why I mentioned a stroke. Mental impairment can be slow, or it can be extremely fast.

I think you underestimate the restrictions that Israel has placed on Gaza for a long time. Exit and entry into Gaza by sea or air is prohibited.
