Mick also addressed this in the Dane Wigington debate which was in 2013 - just in case anyone thinks this is a recent "cover-up"... Mick: Right, so my background is I'm a computer programmer, I'm from England, you can probably tell that by my...

It's absolutely within the gamut of effects cosmic rays can produce. Groups are not super common, but not super rare either, it just means the cosmic ray decayed close to the sensor. Lots of examples here...

Should be addressed now, with a major rewrite of the label system. Docs later.

A GP at my local surgery when I was a kid was called Dr De'Ath. They used to put the names of the doctors up on one of those black pegboards with white plastic letters that push into the little holes, and they apparently didn't have any...

That was in Popular Mechanics? Jeez. When I was a kid they'd run articles on how to build a solar still or how to use your watch as a compass. A far out article was how to build a jet powered go-kart. Now it's The Tooth Fairy Gazette? This...

Mostly UFOs. I bring it up because people ask. And while I did okay out of videogames, I left 20 years ago, and I should have stayed a bit longer, so additional income is still useful. While investigating UFOs is fun, I would at least like to...

Does this count as a synchronicity event? (I didn't make this up as a joke, I genuinely had just started to read a tweet when it vanished, and this one was plonked right in my visual reading position  )

A term I have seen for these kinds of names is "aptonym." I was in a band with an ER doctor, and two of his colleagues at the hospital were named Dr. Gutman and Dr. Doctor. But my favorite medical-related aptonym was my old boss' hematologist...

I would like to see every activist and political influencer have to disclose their revenue streams. Kind of amazing that rando accounts can tweet 10x a day, get hundreds of thousands of engagements, and we have no idea what exactly is behind it.
