You can now drag menus to the side of the screen and dock them in sidebars.
Double-click the individual menu tab to close a menu. Drag it out of the sidebar to remove the sidebar.
This did involve quite a bit of reworking of the viewport and mouse handling code, so there's a possibility of some bugs. But I've tested it quite a bit, and I think I covered everything.
