New Feature Default settings

Is there a way to store default settings?
When opening a new project It's a bit annoying everytime to change to metric, move the camera from the ocean outside California to Europe, and now equatorial grid is on too.

I'm aware this could be a bit tricky when new features are coming, but maybe there is a solution ?

The things under Sitrec/Settings are saved:

I can easily add default startup values here (which you can then temporarily override). I'll do the above, disable the grid, and you can give me a list of other ones that would be useful.

Hmm, but it's not a problem when saving. It's a problem when starting a new projekt, opening Sitrec in a new window.
Maybe I could just save a template with my favorite settings and open that every time ?

These are saved instantly, automatically, and independently of the sitch. They are tied to your Metabunk account, or saved as Cookies if you are not logged in.

Also, done.

I'd avoid that, as it might bake in some things that later change; you still want to go through the "New Sitch".

However, I could add a "Save as Template" that only stores the modifications to the defaults.
