Lady Gaga's Latest Occult Offering

I'm a Lady Gaga Fan. When I was a kid in the 70's I loved Frakenstein, The Wolfman, and Dracula. Later I grew to enjoy spooky heavy metal like Black Sabbath, Slayer, and Judas Priest.

It is fascinating how the Religion and the Occult can be used to influence people. After university I was a hard-kore Evangelical Atheist for thirty years, so I pretty much ignored or ridiculed this stuff. With age I realized what I was missing, so now I'm studying it.

Vigilant Citizen is a website which examines occult influences in popular culture. VC has a Christian fundie flavor, so that caveat must be factored into their analysis. Here they do an interesting deconstruction of Lady Gaga's commercial for her new perfume called Fame.

Great analysis. They always see metaphors and symbologies I miss.

Here is the commercial. You are looking at probably a half-million dollars worth of computer graphics and artistry. World-class media. This young lady is a total Pro.

I agree Mike....I'm feeling a disturbance right now, looking at the pic....

Problem is...I like it....hubba hubba!

I'm with you GG - as a middle-aged bloke of morally suspect character I find that most women in their 20's look good....add wealth and a figure hugging dress to a figure worth hugging and...well....I did say i find it disturbing! :D

I enjoyed seeing Liz in it too...back when I wasn't quite so middle aged but was probably just as morally suspect!! :D:D:D

Did you mean Elizabeth Hurley? Double HUBBA HUBBA. Hopefully you didn't mean the Queen....ewwwwww. Though Helen Mirren could probably pull it off...quite well I imagine.

I hadn't seen that video ... I wouldn't mind auditioning for the bit parts - I have seen the subject matter when it was a talked about a bit recently, and given my position in the demographic I find it perfectly acceptable....but it still isn't "that dress" :)

Since no one seems to be answering this question, here goes. (Jeez guys, seriously? lol)

A website, named The Magical Buffet (another conspiracy website) interviewed the owner of VC. (http://themagicalbuffet.com/blog1/2010/01/05/10-questions-with-the-vigilant-citizen/) When I was reading the comments, I read a statement that needs to be repeated. It's by Dennis:

Ok everyone here goes. I have looked at this site repeatedly and found it to be totally ridiculous. It’s very similar to the “Bible Code” hype. If you look hard enough at anything you can find something to try to justify your beliefs. This whole bit about the “Corporate Elite” hiding symbols in music and videos is completely laughable. It is now and always has been just for the shock value. You know, “doing something that your parents will hate”. It has always been about having something that the “older generation” is shocked by and the kids will love it.There is no big conspiracy. It’s purely for shock and advertising. Something to catch the eye and stand out above the rest. If this guy at VC really believed what he writes he wouldn’t hide his true identity.
He says he has been in the music industry for years and sees all of the crap. Crap is what it is. I have been in the music industry for 45 years. It’s all about advertising and publicity. Nothing more. No hidden meanings, no mind control, no Satanism. Most of the people that believe this crap are mind numb robots incapable of thinking for themselves. I’m not saying they are stupid because stupidity is something your are born with. They are although ignorant. Being ignorant is something that you do through conscious thought. Most of the people that believe what is on VC have been taught WHAT to think, not HOW to think.
It doesn’t matter if the person behind the web site is Christian or not. He has an ulterior motive of some kind otherwise he wouldn’t hide his identity.
One last thing I need to mention is the censorship of the site. I have used their VOTING BUTTONS only to find that if I return to the site later that my votes haven’t been counted and if I write a reply to any of the postings and don’t agree with what has been said by others the my replies mysteriously disappear. I guess he can’t handle any opposition because he is afraid of the “Real Truth”.

Wether or not he actually is in the Music Industry, he does bring up a good point, and it reminded me a lot of Madonna's Like A Prayer video:

Now, this video was very controversial when it first came out (and to an extent, it still is rather unsettling) This was because of the fact that Jesus was portrayed as a black person, and he made out with Madonna. In later scenes of the video, you see Madonna dancing/singing in front of a bunch of burning crosses. Many people thought that she was an anti-christ because of this, but in fact, she was a devout catholic:

and there you have it.

You guys ever run into the ladygaga/kanye->occult->iluminat-i>NWO proof crowd? im not sure i get it at all but somehow they are nwo weapons to culturally shape youth and inject clues like mason symbolism and homosexuality etc.

Correction: Madonna was born and raised as a catholic, and then changed her religion in 2005 into Kabbalah.

The link talks about Lady Gaga. (I seem to be unable to edit my post, strange)
