what is this? ascending bright bluish light

One of the links provided is to a scientific article, which in the beginning states the following:

Stratospheric Blue Jets (SBJs) are upward propagating discharges in the altitude range 15–40 km above thunderstorms. The currently most accepted theory associates SBJs to the development of the streamer zone of a leader. The streamers emitted from the leader can travel for a few tens of kilometers predominantly in the vertical direction (Raizer et al., 2007). The strong electric fields at the streamer tips cause ionisation, dissociation, and excitation, and give rise to chemical perturbations.

I do now know much about those blue jet streamers, or, stratospheric blue jets, but I am quite sure I have heard that they are a kind of "lightning", but moving upwards instead of down. They are very rarely visible from earth, but are visible from space.

I am suspecting that the video shows recordings or animations of blue jet streamers.

Ps. If anybody has more knowledge about this subject than me, please elaborate or correct me.

The other article states the following in the abstract (Can't view the whole article):
A facile atmospheric pressure cold plasma process is presented to deposit a novel organic–inorganic hydrocarbon polymer/ZnO nanoparticles nanocomposite coating. Specifically, this method involves the utilization of an atmospheric pressure dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) fed with helium and the aerosol of a dispersion of oleate-capped ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) inn-octane. As assessed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and attenuated total reflectance–Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy, the deposited nanocomposite coating combines the chemical features of both the oleate-capped ZnO NPs and the polyethylene-like organic component originated from the plasma polymerization of n-octane. Additionally, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission scanning electron microscopy (TSEM) confirm the synthesis of hierarchical micro/nanostructured coatings containing quasi-spherical NPs agglomerates. The polyethylene-like polymer covers the NPs agglomerates to different extents and contributes to their immobilization in the three-dimensional network of the coating. The increase of both the deposition time (1–10 min) and the NPs concentration in the dispersion (0.5–5 wt %) has a significant effect on the chemical and morphological structure of the thin films and, in fact, results in the increase the ZnO NPs content, which ultimately leads to superhydrophobic surfaces (advancing and receding water contact angles higher than 160°) with low hysteresis due to the hierarchical multiscale roughness of the coating.

This is a bit more scientific-ish to my taste, but what I get from the abstract is basically that the paper regards coating of surfaces using aerosols, in order to achieve what is called superhydrophobic surface. So, basically, how to make something water repellent.

Both articles seems completely unrelated to chemtrails.

Ps. Again, if anybody knows more about the above papers, please elaborate or correct me.

How the **** did you find that? I was really really trying hard to find the source of the video! Good job!
took me a while. got distracted with the 'fake?' acs. link at end of video

. but then I snipped the end image (with contrail) and google image searched. was stuck on "flare gun" for quite a while until I decided to try missile, since missile tails look like that too.

found the alien sky torch thing.

then I googled "alien sky torch" and found the launch links.

I tried to capture a still image and google search for it too, guess I chose the wrong place in the video. Again, nicely done! I was sure it was a blue jet streamer, since it was also in the links on FB.

i was not sure about any of the links/abstracts/blurbs attached to that vid- as figuring out what is serious and what is a joke was kind of a pain on that page.

seriously laughing at 'alien sky torch'
