It takes only the slightest breath of air to float a cobweb.

Sitrec does it. Video Processing, Echo Light, Full A-B Echo It's small, close to the camera, and just drifting at a very slow speed. Also, the "motion" of the lights is partly just changes in angles causing the IR to reflect off a different...

Here's a higher-resolution recording. It's a great example of this type of thing. The spider silk is especially apparent towards the end, in the upper right, as it drifts over the camera and out of the illumination of the IR lights.

Disagree with 1 Agree with 2 (any timeframe) 3 will depend on the timeframe, but multi-sensor platforms like AARO has been developing should be ready to deploy soon, and their LIZ might be something different than what we're used to 4 I expect...

This, frankly, is why I boycott every party I'm invited to. That, plus I just don't like spending time with people unnecessarily.

Mylar-type balloons end up as litter. But latex balloons disintegrate (AI tells me six months to four years for complete disintegration). Our local balloon fiasco (latex balloons) pointed out some of the problems with mass balloon releases...

I'm seeing estimates that on the order of 21 million party balloons are sold and possibly released each day globally. Around 5 million each day in the U.S. The flight time depends on many factors, but flight time can range from an hour to...

"Apparently behind" indeed. Personally, I just don't see it. The video is highly compressed, and I don't think it's possible to determine whether the light is actually behind the tree or not. There are simply too many other indicators...

Yes. I didn't mean to be pedantic or a PitA, but you brought a good topic, so it seemed like a good time to help you with how things get posted here. We all had to learn. It's a bit more complicated that something like Facebook or Reddit, but the...
