I might also add, I think UFOs as a social phenomenon will not diminish in the near future. The religious ufologists are not going away, and pilots won't stop reporting them.

I suspect if a device produces photos and videos, those are still a type of photography, the sensors inside the device can be thermal or otherwise, but I wouldn't say an IR image is not a photo, it's still light in a sense.

I agree with all of them except the Calvin photo. I'm pessimistic about it, a hoax cannot be excluded and the witnesses or hoaxers will not come forward.

Not quite. 1)Photon Infrared Sensors Photon-type IR sensors are devices that convert incoming light signals into electrical signals based on the photoelectric effect of materials. The electrical properties of a material are primarily determined...

Absent the hoaxers showing up in person, with negatives, camera and such, and them taking people to the location where the pictures were taken, there is no way to conclusively debunk it. Trials have shown it could be fake, but that is not proof...

Disagree with 1 Agree with 2 (any timeframe) 3 will depend on the timeframe, but multi-sensor platforms like AARO has been developing should be ready to deploy soon, and their LIZ might be something different than what we're used to 4 I expect...

I remember we were talking about one of the new UAP PURSUE videos in another thread and someone asked if such video was taken by an IR sensor or an IR camera, and I didn't understand the difference. If it's a normal wavelength camera, then you...

IR can be a photograph, it is just a photograph at wavelengths we can't see unaided. And depending on the imaging system (camera) it will often be at a lower resolution than we expect from other cameras (imaging systems). I fact I would say the...
