Skinwalker Ranch - Laser Beam Stops and Starts in Mid Air

Indeed. Just plain fabricated stupid non sense. Sadly most a lot of people believe it though. Just misinformation, like the stuff Joe Rogan brings on. EDITED: Corrected above the word "most" to "a lot" because "most" is suggesting I know the numbers of statistics, which I don't.

Man who claims to "summon ufos" appears on news channel:

Wasn't this that case where mr. yahweh had some help by others that used balloons? And that he was paid by the news outlet? It is very hard to find.. I cannot link to anything sensible..

    Agreed with @Mendel and @JMartJr

Skinwalker Ranch - Laser Beam Stops and Starts in Mid Air

    We cannot debunk deliberate faking.

Skinwalker Ranch - Laser Beam Stops and Starts in Mid Air

We need better or more footage of the show, I believe. We now have to work only with a few video screen grabs..

    Skinwalker Ranch: Laser Changing Color

That's a neat spectrometer. Can't find any diagrams explaining the internals, but I consider that there is likely an imaging lens inside, imaging the slit (via a grating) on the detector, hence the tube. One can also make one using (curved) mirrors, making it even better at using it at lower and...

Skinwalker Ranch - Laser Beam Stops and Starts in Mid Air

Interesting thought, @JMartJr , but it cannot explain what we see in the image of post #5.

Skinwalker Ranch - Laser Beam Stops and Starts in Mid Air

It would be interesting to hear about how their laser systems work, indeed. The state of the art laser diodes of today can be pretty beefy, and likely put through photonic crystals or fibres, resulting in broad band high power laser light with continuous spectral wavelength selection.

Skinwalker Ranch - Laser Beam Stops and Starts in Mid Air

I think we have come to the phase where we need to practically experiment to show it works. If only I had a few frequency modulated laser diodes at hand here..

Skinwalker Ranch - Laser Beam Stops and Starts in Mid Air

Not hard, but I doubt the lasers were operating in that kind of configuration. The pictures above of the lasers, show they are probably large stacked laser diode banks/arrays, in combination with a beam collimator (multi lens array). Here it is more "power over control" imo, no syncing...

    Skinwalker Ranch: Laser Changing Color

Incompetence or deliberately clumsy operation of the hard & software, indeed. If only they had not clicked "use auto normalize" and turned off the scale bar.. o_O

Skinwalker Ranch - Laser Beam Stops and Starts in Mid Air

Although you are right, the image you show is not light, but a flame, which is a bunch of exited atoms. :) What also is true that light does not "collide", meaning crossing laser beams show no interaction (unless of course coherent light).

Skinwalker Ranch - Laser Beam Stops and Starts in Mid Air

I change my position, I think now too it must be of electronic nature, rolling shutter effect and such. But it also does not look as similar as other online examples of lasers being affected by the camera/sensor. I wonder how it would only affect some of the lasers, and also only on 1 spatial...

Jaime Mausssan Presents: Claimed UFO over Tehran

Heavily lighted object traveling closely over a darker building.. I would expect a bit of green shine visible.

Indeed, and as a laser typically has 1-10 mrad of divergence, the size of the beam will be at least about 20 meter at 10 km. Interestingly, if you aim a laser at the moon, it will be about 770 meter wide on its surface..

Skinwalker Ranch - Laser Beam Stops and Starts in Mid Air

Very little chance any boundary layer will make 1 beam disappear, while the others are unaffected. A boundry layer is a layer, not a cell/pocket. Other than that, I remain with my thought I had earlier in this thread, that we are looking at a screen hoisted up in the air, blocking some but not...

    SmarterEveryDay "UFO" during Solar Eclipse

Nice. Actually, it might not be so coincidental the object was observed right at the end of the eclipse, because only then the Sun's rays would illuminate objects close to/at the sun (observed, not actual).

    SmarterEveryDay "UFO" during Solar Eclipse

Not sure if it is "brighter" than the glare, but it does not look saturated to me (but the glare is). I agree about the open question, but I don't know.

    SmarterEveryDay "UFO" during Solar Eclipse

There is a thing called Earth's albedo. It is the fraction of sunlight that is diffusely reflected by a body (Earth). This is on average 30%, plenty to illuminate satellites from below during eclipse.

Skinwalker Ranch - Laser Beam Stops and Starts in Mid Air

I think it is the shadow formed by a screen, hoisted up. As they similarly did with another screen in the beginning of the video, in post #1. Basically the screen is blocking the furthest beams, and the middle blue one is in front (it is a circular laser set up). This image is might be a long...
