1. Hi Mick,
do you have any update about this notice? Thank you.

    Airing Date Jan.21,, 2011

A mysterious greenish-yellow goo that fell from the sky has splattered homes in Snyder, N.Y., and triggered investigations by the FAA and the town's waste engineer.

Most of the houses along Washington Highway and Berryman Drive have taken down their Christmas lights, but are now sporting green or yellow icicles. The sides of houses are splashed with a deep brown substance and sidewalks are also spotted with the stuff.

The last I heard was that it was bird poop.

Lots of bird poop on the roof in the snow, there's some melt, and it runs down the side of the building, freezing as yellow icicles. It's the apoocalypse.

    Thank you very much.

By the way. Is there any mechanism to receive by mail the posts in this forum?

Did you get the reply as mail?

Do you mean ALL posts as mail? I know there's not actually a lot, but I don't think there's an option for that. I'll check it out though.

  5. Yes. I mean at least for this subforum. You always are here but I would like to help you or to anybody who post here for a doubt. I know it is difficult. At least in my forum it is not possible. We have to think about it.

    Regards.

Actually, yes, I can do it. I'll set it up for this forum and give it a test new thread.

It's interesting that such stories get more traction in non-english-speaking countries. Here it was easy to find the official explanation - but all you've got to do to spread a story is to first translate the original "mystery" story, then don't translate any of the explanations.
