Windy plugin "Contrail Finder"

Some may already know it but it has a plugin for Windy for "prediction" of contrails which seems to work very well

There is also now a standalone version of this, which is still in beta: https://www.contrails.live/

This works on mobile, unlike the Windy plugin.

I am just popping in to say hello I'm the author of the plugin, and webmaster of contrails.live

I'll give credit to Metabunk, this thread Calculator for RHi and Contrail Persistence Criteria was invaluable in sorting out the calculations required.

The Windy plugin is more accurate for a current analysis, their weather data is more up to date. Unfortunately, Windy plugins only work on the desktop version, they decided not to have 3rd party plugins of their app.

After discovering ECMWF makes their forecasts open source, I built the website to run on mobiles. The forecast is a few hours behind Windy. It is a good indication of whether contrails will appear, but the altitudes are subject to the variability of the forecast, I call it Beta, as I am still tinkering with the front end, but the data is as accurate as I can get it.
