UAP sighting in rural Virginia Feb 4, 2025

This video was shot at 7:55pm on Feb 4th and captured with my iPhone 12 as I was leaving the barn where my horse is stabled. It was a clear night, and I was looking west. I was getting in my truck to leave this location when I noticed a bight hazy orb on the horizon. At the start of the video you can see Venus below and to the left of the object, near the horizon. The orb was moving, and was clearly not a plane or drone. All the other objects in the sky (stars, planets, aircraft) were clearly defined. The UAP seemed to be enveloped in a haze of some kind. I tracked the object as it moved eastward. At one point it was almost directly overhead. Looking up at it, the underside showed a darker shadow in the shape of a hexagon or octagon, with the mist/haze coming down out of the edge of the object. Around the 2:10 mark of the video, the UAP literally disappears. I waited for several moments for it to possibly reappear, but it was gone. It did not zoom away but faded into the darkness of the night sky. After this incident I researched footage from some of the events recorded back in December. I did see an object similar to this in one of the news reports.

I'm not too convinced it was the actual launch since the sky would have been brighter and the rocket would have been seen in the east (liftoff was at 2313Z or 8:13 pm on the East Coast).

What works out really well though is the final orbital burn which occured about 1h40m after launch, around 7:55 pm when the video was taken.

You can see the rocket head towards the US in this view here. It's a bit unfortunate they cut away from this afterwards but from the speed and the direction you can work out they would have been somewhere over New England / Great Lakes region at the time of the burn.
