"Two Suns" in Slovakia and Bratislava [Offset Reflection]

Hi, people,

This video
Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjkHPJH64Uo&feature=youtu.be
shows the "two suns" again.

I know this is not real, but the question I want to ask is: what type of trick is this? I think is due to solar lens, but in the second 0:15 (more or less), you can see how the bird fades. So, probably that person edited the video after?? I don't really know. Because of that I need your help.

This is just curiosity. You could see other things, for example: you only watch one solar flare, or why, if there're two suns, anyone more could see it, or, in the video recorded on 2nd of february, the clouds pass in front of the sun and in the second sun is the same and so on.

I'll thank you for your help.

Yes it's an offset reflection. The dimmer images show the actual size and shape of the sun image, the "larger" brighter image shows the position. It looks larger because it's so bright and hence flared. If you used a darkening filter (Neutral density or similar) then the "real" sun would look like the offset reflection.

The thing that confuses people is that it looks like the reflection is going behind the clouds but the "real sun" is not. It's actually the real sun that's behind the clouds, it's just so bright that it flares up and still looks round - it's actually still dimmed a bit at the top of the flared area.

Yeah, I thought so too. I didn't sure because of that "faded bird".

Anyway, thanks both of you, Trailblazer and Mick.
