It seems rather strange that people can believe such a thing. It's that type of argument that hardly seems worth debunking.

What to do, ignore, or debunk? The debunking is so obvious that if it's not apparent to the person making the claim, then why would they accept your explanation?

I think it's supposed to be jumping in and out from behind the sun? Anyway, I don't thing it's worth debunking. To beleive it you'd have to have such lack of knowledge of the solar system, that it would take quite some to come up to the level where you could understand the explanation. And then they would probably reject it anyway, as some kind of obvious disinfo science-babble.
