Strange, Rhythmic Bright Bodies of Light Photographed on Chilean Beach

a long, bright object floated on the surface of the sea, emitting a rhythmic stream of light, an image that was incomprehensible to some of the people still lingering on the beach.

I think it's the light coming from the nearby airport (Aeropuerto Andres Sabella)

But this has been refuted by eyewitnesses that if it was an airport light it would be up to 3 kilometers long I'm afraid, and it would normally be visible! So can someone better explain what exactly this light is? Why would it send out a rhythm in this form?

The weather in the original video appears to be officially foggy, which fits with why it's not often that you see

No, it would only be a fraction of the length of the actual light chain.

No, it would only be a fraction of the length of the actual light chain.

At certain points in the video you can see lights along a line to the right of the main "object".

The exact location doesn't seem to be given but I am pretty sure it was filmed from Playa de la Chimba. Here's a Street View of the beach:

I think that just above the front of the car in the TikTok video you can see lights on the tall building visible in Street View.

The airport is 7 miles away, to the left of that. Circle on the far shore marks the approach lights, with the runway to the right of that. The tall building I mentioned is just next to the large blue swimming pool you can also see on the far shore.

This case was investigated by the Ceifac, UFO researcher group (to which I belong and i was involbed on The research). The Evidence conclusively demonstrated that it was the new emergency lighting system at the city's airport, seen in the distance in the bay. Is not UFO ligth.

At 0:06 in that first video it sounds like he says he is at Playa Trocadero, which is not the exact same location that the "UFO" video was taken - I'm fairly sure (as mentioned above) that it was from Playa la Chimba, which is the next beach up the coast and quite a bit nearer to the airport.

It's hard to tell as the video is dark, but it looks to me more like the video is from Playa la Chimba, as the angle seems wrong from Trocadero, and the headland would be in the way.

But I assume someone who lives in the city would not mix up the beaches?

Edit: actually having watched the video on a bigger screen it does look like Trocadero - you can see the stone breakwater.

Which does mean it's not an exact debunk of the original video, if my location was correct.
