There are actually three clips in this video. It is said that it was originally released by a Facebook user and has been deleted

Someone in this post has saved three videos

New Jersey Drone UAPs Spotted Interacting, Spinning, Investigating

There's some hype in China that this is a demonstration of alien technology, but I think it might be a quadcopter drone flying into a charging unit on a cable somewhere, or checking the cable?I'm not sure exactly what that brighter ball of light is though?I found some videos on autonomous multirotor coupled drone cables used for charging, not sure if there is a connection

BTW I don't see any light bulbs on the cables here in the map

Well, it's apparent they're recording through glass, either inside the restaurant or inside a vehicle, so some of the lights might be reflections from behind them. There is a drive-through on the back of the building, so I don't know that we're not watching the reflection of the tail light of a motorcycle or something pulling through the drive-through.

Based on the stated location and the angle of the power lines, they're also looking straight at a flight path out of Newark Liberty International Airport and at the purposed time range there were a fair number of planes in the air, some heading due west, some coming west and turning north.

If that blinking light in the distance in the first video is an airplane
屏幕截图 2025-01-17 143008.jpg
, which I totally agree with, but the second video makes it obvious that this is indeed a drone emitting a red beacon on a roadside cable landing on that larger light

.Also I tried to identify if this was shot indoors but it's hard to tell

Looking at the photos and the Google Streetview its hard to determine exactly which way the camera is looking - but the big bright stationary light looks like Venus - which is very prominent in the early evening sky towards the south, and then sets towards the south west. The ambient twilights in the clouds in the first video also suggests they are looking towards the south west.

This screenshot in the OP is from the beginning of the first video.

From the glow in the sky it is certainly possible that the moon is just out of shot to the left. Compare the bright light behind the power lines to the position of Venus at 5.50pm that night.

It's hard to make the angle of the powerlines fit with a view to the southwest, although there are a lot of powerlines in that location.

The thick lines look like a match with this view to the SW from the access road to the west of White Castle, but the other lines above seem to be missing. But Street View is from 2019 so the lines could have been removed.

Actually could these weird shapes in the sky even be the connectors between the cables above (I don't know what they are called), with the thinner cables invisible against the sky?

Boosting the contrast to the limits of resolution I think you can maybe see the power line, just about?

Machine translation to English added:

You have a point, and it's even possible that the filmmakers deliberately aimed the camera at the moon, but I looked carefully at the 10th second of the second video, slowed it down 0.5 times, and then zoomed in, and it looks like the drone with the red light flashing landed behind the "orb", which may refute the "stellar hypothesis". Another detail is that when the drone touches the "Orb", the "Orb" seems to flash and produce a pressure loss similar to an electric discharge.

It's very possible, but I've made a zoomed in GIF, and as you can see, it looks like the drone landed on top of the back of the orb, so maybe it's not an astral body?I can only think now that it's either a drone recharging its batteries, or an amateur drone observing some glowing artificial object hanging from a cable!

My feeling of what we are seeing here. I am not sure on the star/planet IDs as I would expect maybe some other stars to be visible if you can see Altair, also the angle from Venus doesn't seem right, if the Venus ID is correct.

The movement of the red light doesn't seem consistent with an object actually in the sky, I think it is a reflection in the windscreen of the car from which they are filming.

A view to the south west is also consistent with the description of "by the bowling alley", as the bowling alley is in that direction from the White Castle.

NB this footage was also posted on Twitter - same video, with slow motion added to the end.

I don't think the sizes check out at all. The dots of light appear tiny, too small to be a quadcopter if it was at the same distance from the camera as the powerline spacer. (That's what they seem to be called, and are typically about 45cm in diameter)

To me that looks like the reflection of the rear light of a motorcycle. It seems suspicious that the video ends so quickly as the light moves off to the left, as it might be more obvious what it was if the footage kept running.

There are a couple of moments when it looks like the red lights might be blocking out the white light, but it's also possible that it's the cables blocking the view of the star (?)

BTW I found the FB account of the person who originally posted the video, she changed her screen name but it is the same account (old profile pic is still visible)

Candidate for the plane. Several planes flew a similar track that evening (assuming it was 8 December) on approach to Newark.

Track in Google Earth - flying left to right.

And here is the track of the plane in the video, taken from two frames at the beginning and near the end, scaled to match the powerline spacer.

Thank you so much for your research and conclusions, but do I think it's a good idea to ask the person in question about something like this to be able to understand what's really going on?Also I would love to learn how you found her?I think I can use this method to investigate in the future, thanks
