Luis Elizondo's Claims of Coming UFO Disclosure

Way off topic. Either he discloses or doesn't. This disclosure has been just around the corner for decades. That is all. He promises disclosure. Does the publicity circuit. Never discloses. No polite way to state my opinion of him.
Well said. An endless circus.

Howdy folks, just a quick update for you to consider... please know that ongoing efforts are underway that will reveal themselves by early to mid 2024.
...if you have learned anything over the past 5 years, I never make empty promises. Trust me, this will be worth it.
(My emphasis).
When are we past "mid 2024"?
The middle day of the calendar year 2024 was July 2, (Day Week Years website), we're forty days past that.
Summer Solstice was on June 20 (Live Science website) and we're fifty-two days past that.

Did I miss something? If it happened, was it "...worth it"?

We've read Lou's not a man to make empty promises, he says so himself.

I suspect this is just his book, now slated for release on August 20th. The original publication date might have changed due to the DOPSR review taking longer than anticipated.

I think its the same as the claim proponents of psychic powers make, that just having an unbeliever in the room prevents the magic or pseudoscience from working.
Yes, in the psychic industry, it's called the "Negative Success Gambit."
