Just found this video of a meteor on reddit.
I can easily see how someone saw this and thought it was aliens. Thats not how I ever would imagine a meteor to look like.

What a crazy and beautiful capture.

DID someone see this and think it was aliens?
not that im aware of but i also didnt looked if someone did. i shared it because its always good to see how crazy some things can look like when we have actual footage. as reference.

There was a reply to the post from somebody who saw the video humorously referencing the Disney alien pic "Lilo and Stitch," as well as a reference to how that would have started myths in some cultures, and a poster claiming it has something to do with the Book of Revelation and end times and the Trump assassination attempt. So I suppose it is only a matter of time before somebody seriously presents this as aliens. We'll see.

Wow! But it's very slow, and very bright.
Might it be a distress flare or something similar?
"Slow", I can believe, because we are familiar with things that are a lot closer if they look that bright. My only experience with witnessing a large meteorite immediately struck me as being too slow, and while it looked like it slowly traversed the distance between our football stadium and Cleveland (about twenty miles), it actually was going at a very high rate of speed, and impacted in Peekskill NY.

But I think this one is photographed through a completely overcast sky (with lower clouds visible), and although that would subdue the brightness somewhat, it would also diffuse it to look like a larger item.
