Ignore/Hide Thread option?

Hiya!

Is there the ability to hide threads that are no longer of interest? Or that I have sworn a mighty oath not to get drawn into posting any more, but due to an innate weakness of character might yield to temptation if presented with it?

If so, whereat is it? If not, would it be an easy feature to add? (It is probably not worth going to a lot of trouble over, unless this inspires a groundswell of expressed need...)

Thanks, what I was looking for was more like the option you added. So far there aren't any users I want to block. But it is just lunch time...

Fun fact: when you're ignoring a member, you're also ignoring the threads they've started, and won't see anything relating to these threads in your feeds.

A bug in the code for this addon meant it needed reinstalling, so if you are using it, you may need to re-ignore forums and threads.

@Mick West -- It (ignore thread) appears to have vanished in the new software updates or whatever they are. It is probably something that can be safely back-burnered... not critical but just nice...

Yeah, that was one of the addons that went poof. Hopefully will be updated.

Thanks, it is back! I don;t see it on THIS thread, which nearly led me to say "I still don;t see it!" But I thought to check a few threads, and it's fine -- so I am assuming "can't ignore threads that you start" or something, which is fine. Thanks!

Which I assume is because I started the thread -- my option to avoid threads I don't want to see started by me is to not start them, I am guessing! Which is fine. I can now find the button and ignore threads the REST of y'all start with ease!

Ignoring one's self could give a guy a complex!
