This interactive article shows how false claims can spread on twitter, and how the facts eventually beat them down.

This is a great illustration of how pre-emptive debunking is important, to stop bunk from establishing a foothold as early as possible.

Pick a story, then move the timeline slider to see the story explode in the twittersphere, and the anti-story follow to stamp it out. It's very evocative of some kind of viral growth.
