Last night, beginning at around 9:45 pm, I personally witnessed (and videoed) what appeared to be dozens of large drones in the sky above my residence in Davidsonville, Maryland (25 miles from our nation's capital). I observed the activity for approximately 45 minutes.

Like many who have observed these drones, I do not know if this increasing activity over our skies is a threat to public safety or national security. But the public is growing increasingly concerned and frustrated with the complete lack of transparency and the dismissive attitude of the federal government. The government has the ability to track these from their point of origin but has mounted a negligent response. People are rightfully clamoring for answers, but aren't getting any.

We are being told that neither the White House, the military, the FBI, or Homeland Security have any idea what they are, where they came from, or who has launched or is controlling them–and that they pose no threat.

That response is entirely unacceptable. I join with the growing bipartisan chorus of leaders demanding that the federal government immediately address this issue. The American people deserve answers and action now

So, he's looking roughly SE.

I'm not sure, with how much the camera moves around and how often there is nothing in frame but a single light, but... is it possible he's videoing nothing other than stars and planets? The one that seems to be top the left and seems to be fading out when he puts the camera on it may not fit that hypothesis, unless it is being occluded by something in the foreground as the camera moves? (Edit: Watched it initially in full screen, just watched it in smaller size, it really looks like a lot of trees or something in the foreground which sort of blurred out in the full screen size, that would seem to be the sort of thing that might occlude a star or planet...)

There are a LOT of natural lights in the sky where he is looking.

Might he be seeing distant air traffic approaching toward an airport that is BEHIND the direction he is looking? (That is, in the D.C. area.) I have to say, I am singularly unimpressed with his video skills, with a shaky camera and nothing but blank sky behind his objects.

While my predominant takeaway is: "What a pandering, bandwagoning moron!"
I do desperately choose to take some tiny solace in that
(before his unhinged rant about a pretend lack of "transparency")
he at least says: "...what appeared to be dozens of large drones..." (emphasis mine, unfortunately).

I did get a cheap chuckle at the beginning of his Wikipedia page:
"Larry Hogan...not to be confused with Harry Logan."

Presumably then it is OK to confuse him with Harry Hogan, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Texas A&M, or classical harmonicist* Larry Logan?

Appologies.

Is there sufficient info in the trees in the video to "stabilize" the imagery and see if any of the lights actually move?

So Hogan "videoed" dozens (of something) but he posts video of just a few. (Somehow this seems familiar).

I'm calling on Larry Hogan to be transparent, stop keeping this from us, and post the full dirty dozens.

That's not my take-away at all. As not long after he says "I personally witnessed (and videoed) what appeared to be dozens of large drones in the sky" he drops the defensive wording and goes straight to the certainty of "Like many who have observed these drones".
