Fallstreak Canal Clouds Crossing in Trussville, Alabama

Unfortunately not much in terms of date/time. Story says "Updated: Tuesday, November 3 2015, 01:27 PM CST", so maybe that morning, or the previous afternoon.
 
Plenty of options, as it's quite the crossroads there, but would they have to be low? At the same altitude?

So that means looking WNW, so the sun is fairly low in the west, so I'm guessing around 4PM (UTC 2200). Probably Oct 2nd?

I assume you mean Nov 2?

As for the altitude, I was under the impression that these "canal clouds" were formed by planes much lower than cruising altitude. That appears to be altocumulus, which is typically below 20,000 feet. (Fallstreak clouds also form in cirrocumulus, which is higher, but I don't think that's what these are.)
