400 second exposure of the 5:42 am EDT launch from Cape Canaveral as viewed from Orlando. An aircraft on it's landing approach to Orlando Int'l Airport also cuts in front of the arcing rocket. The second image is of the plume distorting in the upper atmosphere minutes later in the pre dawn sky.

Excellent shots! I am sure it took some effort to get the exposure time correct?

Not very difficult, A sturdy tripod and a remote trigger to start and end the exposure. Set the ISO as low as possible, in my camera ISO 100 and stop the lens down all the way, F/22 and start the exposure before the rocket becomes visible as the pads are about 45 miles to the east of my location.
