Facebook violence

There is a thread devoted to violence against chemtrails pilots, but as far as I can see there is not one about threats to the president. In fact in many discussions I've been involved in, a couple of posters have denied anyone has threatened the president's life on Facebook.

This is from a page called A Sheep No More that I sometimes follow. The thread is about how Pres Obama is supposedly going to be arrested when he arrives in South Africa.

Does in necessarily have to be in Facebook?

There are often threats of violence on the PressTV website and LaRouchePAC often say varying degrees of wingnuttery about the President, and in the case of the British, the Queen.

I'm sure it's all over. I only picked FB because someone else said they'd never seen a thread of violence against the pres there.

Threats of violence against the President are taken very seriously, so probably get taken down very quickly, and possibly result in a visit from the secret service.

Threatening the President of the United States is a class D felony under United States Code Title 18, Section 871.[1] It consists of knowingly andwillfully mailing or otherwise making "any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States". TheUnited States Secret Service investigates suspected violations of this law and monitors those who have a history of threatening the President.

Thanks Mick. The Wikipedia link is quite useful. I'm sure there are threats against the President everywhere - both fantastical and credible ones including those ricin letters. However, this Facebook page still exists, and I can't seem to find any specific threats on there apart from some whacky theories, but I guess the owner should be getting ready to photoshop Mahmoud Ahmadinejad out and Hassan Rowhani into bed with the rest!
