Drones vs. Astronomers - Arizona Drones "Attack" Observatories

Military-launched drones in Arizona. Here is an account with specifics of drone activity, flown by the military in Arizona. Many drones are flown by the army from Ft. Huachuca. Others are apparently being launched out of a government-affiliated airport at Marana, Arizona. Sometimes the drones "orbited" over astronomical observatories, seriously messing up the imaging!

The photo shows an RQ-7 drone, launched from Ft. Huachuca, "orbiting" the Grasslands Observatory in southern Arizona.

It's a bad time for astronomers with increasing air traffic, Starlink and drones as well.
