Debunk Bigelow Aerospace is Obsessed with UFOs and ETs . . . rather strange for a serious space oriented company . . .

Bigelow originally licensed the multi-layer, expandable space module technology fromNASA after Congress canceled theInternational Space Station (ISS) TransHabproject following delays and budget constraints in the late 1990s.[3][7] Bigelow has three Space Act agreements whereby Bigelow Aerospace is the sole commercializer of several of NASA's key expandable module technologies.http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bigelow_Aerospace#section_1

Skinwalker Ranch purchased by Bigelow . . . Why??

Army Colonel John B. Alexander who characterized the NIDSci effort as an attempt to get hard data using a "standard scientific approach".[4] However, the investigators admitted to "difficulty obtaining evidence consistent with scientific publication." Cattle mutilations have been part of the folklore of the surrounding area for decades, but NIDSci founder Robert Bigelow's purchase of the ranch and investigation funding was reportedly the result of his being convinced by stories of mutilations that included tales of strange lights and unusual impressions made in grass and soil told by the family of former ranch owner Terry Sherman.[5]

Robert Bigelow also owns Budget Suites of America, which made him the fortune that has allowed him to delve into aerospace adventures and fund some UFO reporting projects. He's a real estate entrepreneur who has an obsession with UFO's, he probably hires a few people who are also obsessed with UFO's... so what's your point?

News flash! Real estate tycoon obsessed with UFO's. Film at 8 and 11.

How did he get the cooperation of the FAA to include his organization as an official referral agency for UFOs . . .??? Seems rather odd to me ?? Why isn't he considered a nut case and an obsessed, over the top eccentric . . . that is my point. . .

The FAA has not included his organisation as "an official referral agency" - they have suggested that you should refer UFO's to people who are interested in them because they are not.

why would this seem odd? It seems odd to me that you think the FAA would do anything else - if it refused to so anything they would probably be accused of being part of a cover-up!

Why isn't he considered a nut case and an obsessed, over the top eccentric . . . that is my point. . .

Why would he be considered a nut case, etc? Lots of people are interested in UFO's - me for example - even better if they are actually alien space craft - I'd love to see one - honestly!!

Not everyone interested in such has to also believe in the more extreme aspects of UFOlogy - it is up to individuals to determine how they want to express themselves. If a company owner has an interest in UFO's and gathering whatever data there is to be gathered then I say go for it.

Robert Bigelows UFO-Center is only taken as Example by the FAA. This is your quote:

Persons wanting to report UFO/unexplained phenomena activity should contact a UFO/ unexplained phenomena reporting data collection center, such as Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS) (voice: 1-877-979-7444 or e-mail: Reporting@baass.org), the National UFO Reporting Center, etc.

BAASS is only mentioned as one example. What´s about the "National UFO-Reporting Center" and the "etc."?

FAA is saying here "don´t flood us with your UFO-Sigthing. Go to the well-known UFO-People, they would like to hear what you want to say to them"

Robert Bigelow has a lot of money to spend out. Some he spend for UFO-Groupes, some he spend in his Company "Bigelow Aerospace" wich is doing really interesting and good work. Some of his money is thrown out for his personal nonsense, some is spend out for usefull research and development.

Here is a long article about the well-known UFO-Interests of Robert Bigelow:

If it is not official . . . it is very unusual and amounts to an endorsement IMO. . . why is it the only organization listed with contact information provided by the FAA???

So you are a UFO enthusiast . . . do you base your interest on empirical data?? If so . . . what is the evidence that peaked your interest?

So you agree he is obsessed with UFOs and ETs? Willing to spend much money on attempts to discover what ever he can . . .

German Aviation and Space-Companies commonly first refer UFO-Sigthings to CENAP
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centrales_Erforschungsnetz_außergewöhnlicher_Himmelsphänomene - a small UFO-Group dominated by Mr. Werner Walter http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Werner_Walter_(Ufologe) - an UFO-Entusiastic with a great archive about UFO-Sigthings. Well, he is really hardcore-sceptic about Aliens behind this UFO-Seeings.

Take a look on his Blog http://ufo-meldestelle.blog.de/ - This is the Top-Adress german aviation and Space-Organisations recommend for UFO-Sigthings!

In Germany, UFO-Sigthings are referred to this "remarkable" Person.

Ask the FAA why they choose him as one of 2 examples and etc., not us.
Maybe it is just a hint "Don´t blame us with your UFO-Sigthings"
