Contact in the Desert - "Evening Under the Stars" Orange Orb Sighting

In a post on X Chris Bledsoe showed a video, apparently from the recent Contact in the Desert event, where he claims he predicted an orange light would appear below the clouds at 9:45pm. This would have been at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort, Indian Wells, CA on Sunday, June 1, 2025, 9:45pm PDT.

Time to pay attention.
Nearly 1000 people witnessed me predict it to be orange and it would decend down beneath the clouds to be precisely at 9:45.
When it went up you can hear people say its 9:47

Patrick from the Vetted podcast made a post saying he was there and people thought it was just a plane.

Well….i was there in person for this. It was a plane ✈️ sorry to report. Just being honest about what I saw. I was there over an hour and everyone around me thought it was a plane too.

Nothing descended down. It was a plane that flew by.

I have asked Patrick to confirm the location and date, but American Air flight AAL2709 would have been basically due North from the resort at that time, coming in for landing at KPSP (so landing lights would be on), and it turned NW at 9:47 when the light disappears in the video.

Here's a sitrec of AA2709 from the hotel. Seems a bit low, but then we don't have context video. It's 10 miles away and only 4000 feet, descending.

Location of the viewing party was given as
33.72227° N, 116.32307° W

A field a the East end of the resort, with a single story parking structure (with lights)directly to the North.

This is from a drone video. I think they are in the area to the left of the tennis courts. Here, right is north.

I improved the sitch. Just zoomed in on the terrain to get better mountatins, and fixed the location to the right spot on the ground

Just 7.4NM away, so a great candidate for high visibility with landing lights.

So that Pilatus was going to turn north and west to go land and had its lights on? The screen doesn't say where it came from or where it was going that I can see.

PC-12s have a lot of landing lights. We've ID'd them as UFOs before.

Ezra Kelderman, Project Manager & Hardware Engineer for The Galileo Project, shares his experience of this event, which left him confused and scratching his head. He also mentions that the event drew a sizable crowd, estimating close to 1,000 attendees.

He also describes additional sightings observed during the event, including a particularly notable one involving two unidentified objects.

I found his apparent gullibility troubling, particularly when he described sitting through a presentation where a woman and her daughter performed blindfolded demonstrations, allegedly identifying colors and reading text from across the room with perfect accuracy.

If this is the caliber of individuals associated with The Galileo Project, I find it deeply concerning.

There's nothing especially worthy of respect of any of the members of the Galileo Project, remember that it includes the Tedescos as contributors.

Catch-up on the Tedescos for those not familiar:

/Tedesco Brothers Radar Signal Paper/: https://www.metabunk.org/threads/tedesco-brothers-radar-signal-paper.13959/
Summary: the paper was warmly received with analysis such as "Words fail me", "Some of the writing almost seems like a parody of an actual journal submission.", "Reading this paper is a waste of time.", and "That document has some really fine scientifical gibberish.".

/News Nation - Light in the Sky video - Tedesco Brothers/: https://www.metabunk.org/threads/news-nation-light-in-the-sky-video-tedesco-brothers.13684/
Summary: They don't know a plane when they see one, and couldn''t read a compass even if their reputation depended on it. And when their many errors were pointed out to them, they got got in a flap.

It should be common knowledge that the Tedescos are in the Loeb-lobe of fringe science, but if not:
