Constable oil sketch of clouds from 1822

I thought this looked rather like some photos that I have seen claimed to be effects of spraying. Since it was an oil sketch by John Constable in 1822, probably over eastern England, the chemtrail conspiracy seems even less likely an explanation than usual.

That picture has come up before. I think it;s in the Persistent contrails from before the 90;s thread.
