Elsewhere however the number seemed much lower:

Ukrainian aviation, military and terrorist defense fighters have destroyed a column of equipment of the Russian invaders near the town of Bashtanka in Mykolaiv region.

Head of Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration Maria Chorna said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"We spent the whole day watching the movement of the occupiers from Mykolaiv. Now I can share the good news. A column of Russian soldiers reached Bashtanka, where they met fierce resistance. Here it was bombed by our aircraft, and the local defense chased them in the fields," Chorna said.

According to her, the invaders fled towards Novyi Buh, but it did not help them. The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired on and burned the rest of the column - several dozen armored vehicles.

"As of now, the offensive has been stopped. But we are not losing vigilance. The enemy is very insidious," she stressed.

The original source for the claim seems to be the chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council.

https://www.ukrinform.ua/rubric-ato...na-na-mikolaivsini-nalicuvala-800-odinic.html

Article:
Mykola Lukashuk, the chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council, announced this on Facebook , Ukrinform reports.
"During the day we received information about a column of Russian troops moving towards Kryvyi Rih from Bashtanka and numbered about 800 units of wheeled equipment. Our defenders worked quickly, leaving the enemy no chance to even enter the Dnipropetrovsk region. The column was attacked from the air. - it is said in the message.

Bashtanka is not in Dnipopetrovsk oblast, but Kryvyi Rih is. The distance by road is 109 km, via Novyi Buh.

There's a video here of many burned-out tanks, but this is two days old.

The article says that video was from "near the city of Malryn, around 60 miles northwest of Kyiv" and that the attack was carried out by drones. Video here:

There's a Reddit thread on the "800 vehicles":

Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/comments/t4l00g/convoy_of_around_800_russian_military_vehicles/

but I don't see any corroborating evidence.

The OP does claim to show a "short video" but it's merely a still of a burned out truck that one user says is "CONCLUSIVELY not Mykolaiv. That burned out truck was CONCLUSIVELY from the VDV convoy that was wiped in Bucha."

CNN seems to back this up, saying that it was part of a convoy destroyed on the outskirts of Kiev three or four days ago (truck appears at around 0:58):

Also, the Facebook page of Mykola Lukashuk, the chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council, which has quite regular and detailed posts:

In that article it's stated:

This is the dramatic moment the Ukrainian military used a drone to destroy a Russian convoy from above.

Footage of Turkish-made drones hitting Putin’s forces has been posted online as Ukraine fights back against Russian invasion.

Chief commander of the armed forces Valery Zaluzhny posted the clip on Facebook, saying a Bayraktar drone was used near the city of Malryn, around 60 miles northwest of Kyiv.

I don't get any video of the strike coming up though. Do you?

Also, can anyone locate the Facebook of Valery Zaluzhny where the clip was supposedly posted?

There's this one:

but no clips there.

No, I just see the short video taken while driving past a lot of burned out tanks, posted two days ago. I can't find anything more recent.
